If you do not want a payment agreement, you can contact the crew on board and ask to pay by credit card, thus avoiding an invoice fee.

If you do not use any of the no-fee options above, an invoice including a NOK 35 fee is sent by post to the vehicle’s owner.

AutoPASS ferry cards will no longer be in use from 01.01.25

From January 1st 2025, AutoPASS ferry cards will no longer be in use on any ferry connections in the AutoPASS for ferry scheme. Payment for journeys on ferry connections that have previously used ferry cards will now be registered by the vehicle license plate.

All ferry connections that have used ferry cards for payment are priced after the national regulation of ferry fares. From 01.01.25, they will be priced after the AutoPASS regulation of ferry fares, or their own local regulations. (tenker ingen link, da denne kun fins på norsk)

Please note that the prepaid amount on your agreement with AutoPASS for ferry is linked to the agreement itself, not the ferry card. There is no balance on the card, and the card does not need to be returned.

ATTEMPTED FRAUD!
There are currently being sent out fraudulent emails and text messages where you are asked to update your card information. These are not sent from AutoPASS for ferry, and the links must not be opened. If you have opened the links or given out your card information, please contact your bank as soon as possible.
